Our Chef and Staff

Have you met Dave Sargent? He is the owner of M&M’s Café originally from Redondo Beach, California. He worked in aerospace for Fairchild Controls Corporation in Manhattan Beach, California beginning in 1970. In 1992, Fairchild Controls relocated him and his family to Frederick, Maryland. He remained working there for 35 years with an extensive background in commercial aviation, space shuttle and defense programs, the FAA repair and overhaul station and was in charge of facilities, operations, manufacturing and new production of C-130’s, 747’s and the cooling systems for the main rockets in the pilots and avionics for Apache Assault Helicopters. All the while he had a successful catering business on the side in which he catered weddings, company events, annual picnics and horse shows. When he retired from Fairchild he decided to start a new career in the restaurant industry because of his background and knowledge. Dave has owned M&M’s going on 15 years and has enjoyed his new adventure in providing great customer service and great food for all to enjoy!

We refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant. Every day you can find Dave in the kitchen working hard to whip up some of his unique creations. Try some of our customers favorites like Terri's Carrot Cake or Dave's Bourbon Pecan Pie. If you're in the mood for something savory, call ahead to see if we have our Applewood Smoked Salmon or our one of a kind Seafood Lasagna. Maybe you're in the mood for a Jumbo Lump Crab Roll? No matter what you're craving, we have something to suit your appetite.
